I love when God speaks to me using every day stuff.

Anyone who lives in the Valley,
(by that I mean, Kern County and surrounding areas) knows we have some of the worst air in the country. Everything from San Francisco and Los Angeles settles right over us. We are surrounded by toxic air.

Yesterday I was driving to Bakersfield and the air looked so bad it was thick with pollution. I thought, “Lord, look at all that nastiness, that pollution. I want to get out of here, I want to live in a higher elevation where the air is pure.”

My spirit was quickened as I thought how that relates spiritually as well. How many of us are living in the valley where its polluted? Where we feel like we are suffocating because everything around us is toxic. We live with people and near people who are just down right nasty and it makes it hard to rise above the poisons that are slowly killing us? I believe God wants to teach us HOW to rise above our circumstances, above the confusion, the negativity, the bad reports and live in a higher elevation. A place that is pure and where you can breathe and you don’t feel suffocated.

Spiritually, I have been in that place so I understand the feeling of entrapment. The ONLY thing that got me out of that was diligent prayer and faith. Praying without ceasing and Faith to believe that God would actually do what He said He would do. And then being obedient when he told me to do something.

It all boils down to trust my friends. If you truly want to Rise above the Toxicity in your life, its going to require Diligent Prayer and Trust in God. But the cool thing is, He is waiting for you to cry out to Him. He wants to help you. He wants you to live a full life. He wants you to Rise Above the Cloud of confusion and Disbelief and TRUST Him for bigger and better things. Friends, I believe there are some of you, if you were to ever TRULY grasp the magnitude of Gods love for you, you would be radically changed for ever.
My prayer is that you would know Him intimately at never doubt Him again. Blessings my friend.
